Mostly I don’t go out of my way to poke a bear, yet sometimes getting the bear out of the den isn’t such a bad thing. Especially when the bear knows a thing or two, me, I am no bear, although I have a long fuse, when I get annoyed I can go nuclear. The only thing is I don’t generally have a clear idea of bigger types of projects and what is required. It does get difficult to get the right people on board projects when so many people my age are inundated with commitments and snowed under. The question is, how do you get the right people involved?

I suppose I am lucky with some street painting work because of connections and knowing the people who can get the right people involved. There are always people trying to rain on your parade, there have to be boundaries and a willingness to act swiftly and resolutely. It is hard work to be constructive and I can’t waste time at my age, one thing I have realised in all of the chaos of the past few years is that things happen when they are supposed to. It isn’t always pretty, it can be bittersweet, horrible, beautiful you can’t pick it. Things just seem to happen in their own time.
