Since the global financial crisis my shopping habits have completely changed. There were retailers I would visit that were expensive but quality merchants. There is one large retailer that has never recovered. It’s also online shopping which has been hurting them. That’s it though you become a bargain hunter and it’s a race to the bottom.

Me I would see the item and feel the pain then find a cheap second hand alternative. It would be a hassle catching a taxi to the middle of nowhere and trying to juggle some item. But it saved a lot of money. Gone was the luxury of stepping into a retailer and being swept away. Instead it was hassle and hustle.
