Beautiful life

What amazes me is how beautiful life is. For all of the challenges we can all face there is this underlying beauty of being alive. Especially when you learn a lesson from the challenges. When you grow into the challenge. You never have to fight it or struggle with it. What will be will be. It isn’t easy though because challenges go straight to the core of your being. The pain, the frustration, the mixed emotions, the weight of negative energy, you really know you are alive in those moments, it can be so raw.

Disengagement, disentanglement, the calm within the storm. Nobody can live your life for you. We are always learning about ourselves, about the human condition, about how fragile we really are. Being weak shouldn’t be mocked, in comparison to most things we are weak, we are supple, we should be able to bend to the pressure, to not break under pressure. When I was young I spent most of my life in the surf. The surf teaches you to go with the flow, to not fight its power, to listen to where the energy is going. To survive in the calamity by knowing the energy and where it is going.
