Games in play

Even though Trump is isolating himself I feel unhappy that most of Europe wants to keep playing the same cards. Trump is shrinking back US power to become a regional power and in Europe it offers France for example to increase their regional power. Russia is always criticised and ignored which is half the reason the invasion started and is ongoing.

I am no geopolitical expert and at most I am the village idiot but the way things are looking Europe is hoping to keep Russia contained without the US. The US which looks like a joke is more interested in supporting Israel and rustling the feathers of its ally’s which bodes badly for Australia. AUKUS will never happen which is a boon really but the money spent will never be returned.

The US with Trump will finally pull away from the globalist camp but there is still some love in the US for good old fashioned colonial war. Going after Hamas with Israel killing mostly unarmed civilians means that Israel can keep doing what it has always done. It is low stakes when you are playing that game but when Russia turned up in Syria years back the US made a bunch of excuses and mostly pulled out of bombing missions in Syria.

Fighting a guerilla war for twenty years can do that to a country, I mean really it has been longer than that. Conventional wars are a massive headache and picking on poor countries was supposed to be better but really, at least Trump is pulling back. Europe just said the US is unreliable which means the US wants to change the script. We will see what eventuates, maybe a wider war in Europe or at least a power struggle.

  1. Interesting point of view and accurate for the most part. My decade plus of isolation gave me a chance to deep dive on allot of this stuff. The madness I’ve seen in Europe is no less crazy than what’s happening in America. America is center stage so we experience its death throes more regularly. Literally what we see is what they want us too so its so much worse than we realize. I still sometimes watch UK column and the others only now and then. I have another life in development and nothing I’ve learnt is helpfull to anyone trying to live right now. People will insist on being well, “people”. There is a future and I hope to god it isn’t what the (((internationalists))), trilats, WEF and their ilk have been setting our course for. That would be so horrific that even with my kink to impulsively look down every rabbit hole consequences be damned I find it too much to dwell on despite seeing its architecture and social rearrangement surrounding me everywhere I go. No wonder no one wants to talk to me anymore….. Its mutual for the most part although i do make an effort to mirror or just talk at them.
