Object

When you see a beautiful flower and admire it, for most people it is the be all and end all of the object, it goes no further. For others they see the flower and admire nature and its mastery. Only a select few admire the complexity of nature and its many traps. They see through the object itself, they see the illusion and allusion.

Most people who are at the admiring stage also know that it is a trap but the ones who really know the trap are not trapped. The ones who really understand, they step out of the trap and are neither moved by beauty or aghast at the ugly. It doesn’t matter how old or young you are but age is an advantage.

Even the old struggle with the traps set, sometimes more than the young. Desire eats at them, goads them forth for desires out of reach. Everything comes at a price, yet real freedom costs nothing but your understanding and ingenuity.

  1. Wow. Really profound Mr Carter. I’ve been having a few of those recently one of which is at this time in my meditations with qabbalah I’m at a point where i can understand Nieztches title ” Beyond good and evil”. But now past the “this is the book you must read”. I wonder if the prick really understood what that truly entails in elevated objective consciousness. I wonder if he even knew what that title truly means. In reference to your “trap” observation.
