Logic puzzles

Last night at Qigong we talked about logic constructs. The master presented a logic puzzle and said basically you have to realise that it isn’t real. So many issues lead you in a certain direction and fundamentally they don’t really exist. The problem is the construct which leads you in a certain direction you shouldn’t really go.

The problem could be real in that it has an artificial presence as something that exists in the world yet if you look at human history it didn’t always exist before or need to exist now. It exists only to control you and direct you. Maybe in the future it could cease to exist again. The Taoist idea of the universe is that it is fundamentally formless and has no beginning or end.

Some people try to calculate the universe’s form or general size through symbolic means but really there is no point. In Feng Shui for example a divination samples the reality around us. You take a small section of what we know in our space and time and that represents the entire universe. In that the universe is infinitely small and infinitely large.

The basic idea is that what exists on Earth (life) only exists on Earth but that is part of the larger universe so humanity can’t exist without the Earth. We are bound so really the problem isn’t finding other habitable planets but keeping Earth habitable. The idea is just a practical one in that we sustain and nurture what we have.

You could accept that other ideas will lead you to your demise if you understand the fundamental problem of constructions as opposed to reality and our connection to it. For example a corporate entity won’t tell you that you are an integral part of the universe. Instead you are only as good as your exploitability and use to the corporate entity. A slave to a destructive logic. When really you need to see the barriers for what they are and reject them.
