Geometric interpration

I never quite understood geometric painting but I do now. My own work is based on perspective so say I were to paint a geometric bridge my instinct is to do it on an angle so it looks less geometric. Geometric painting though is not necessarily about the rules of perspective but of ideas and design. If you design a house or chair you need a planar perspective so something flat and clear. But say I were to paint or render the house as built it would take on angles that are based on interpretation rather than design. So my own work isn’t a design to interpret but an interpration of a design and because there is so much design in the world it can become very abstract.
