Flexibility

Had spent years refurbishing old computers from around 2001 till I finally started buying new computers in 2009. It is definitely good to be able to get a bit more life out of an old crap heap but the stuff I have found over the last few years really has been bad and I am glad I at least have some reliable machinery around. What we expect computers to do has changed and new hardware is pretty cheap these days. Have been lucky because I can work with pretty much anything and it is easy to move from say icloud to google services or whatever there is so much choice. The point of my post was to say I amassed a pretty big iTunes catalogue and felt that I was locked in a bit with that considering I work mainly in Linux. But I found you could legally transfer it to other providers and get it in a browser or on android which made me feel a little better about the world. I love iTunes but I needed some flexibility.
