Big wank theory

One of the biggest problems with desire is that most of your life you are alone with just desire only. It is a kindling that also can be consuming, yet the breath (like a bellows) can adjust from light to heavy. Art when it has been formally canonised becomes something other artists can diminish through emulation.

I sometimes feel that making art or what culturally art has become in my own individualist delirium is nothing more than a symptom of a great decline. My own decline in mental health and learning of the degeneracy of late 20th Century art. Yet even this fragmented outlook that posits great art into the past or in other cultures makes even less sense in my own mistaken identity as an artist.

People will not even let you be an artist without some sort of credible credentials and so the individualism we talk of is actually institutional. Yet some of us just have this need or desire (loneliness/individualism) to create stuff that is highly irrelevant yet a personal necessity. Why is irrelevance so important? Why is loneliness and individualism so important? As a quick conclusion, emptiness feeds a need for external objects.

Emptiness opens us to consumption and there is not one single type of emptiness, emptiness itself is in infinite forms. That way it can attract anything that exists and anything that doesn’t exist. Emptiness itself is infinitely structural and always has potential.
