Mags and Books

In 2009 I printed some zines and I found it expensive but satisfying. In 2010 the iPad came out and so in 2011 I put free PDFs on this site (recently I put up the whole back catalog). Now I have come full circle and made a set of 3 mags and books. This time it feels different because these are aerosol archives. It is also nice to hold a real object. I feel a bit tired of the digital world. It is an important tool and without it these objects wouldn’t be here so quickly. Yet I really needed to see these works archived in an accesible way.

Because I am not a popular artist and a niche artist I am trying to get these archives into the right hands. In a lot of cases I am giving some away and I am also selling these to the appreciators of less popular work. The mags are $120 for the set and the books are $350 for the set. I honestly feel the mags are the best bang for buck but the books are hardcover and pretty hardy. I am just glad to see something real in what feels like a fake world. Not that I am complaining or unhappy, what I am getting at is the unedited nature of these publications. They are somewhat candid and defintiely unpretentious.
