Sometimes you talk to people and things might turn to fame or fortune and then you see the mental cage we all put ourselves in. Then I might see that cage and offer a perspective that is empowering, a Taoist perspective an agricultural perspective (you reap what you sow but also the positive and negative cycles in nature laid bare) then people don’t know what you mean.

I suppose most common narratives are competitive rather than empowering. When the empowering option comes up people can’t even see it. They don’t know what self empowerment is. Why would anyone recognise it. Even when people turn to Hip Hop a lot of them just focus on fame and money rather than self growth. That I feel is disappointing.
