It is obvious I love to play with art, there are so many gifts and if the elements come down to tone, line, colour what have I got to lose? Even though I am a playful artist I am still quite serious and interested in what comes about in these moments. I love it when things don’t make sense, when there is an open ended logic.

A friend said ‘play is underrated’ and I can understand why it is underrated, it is too much of a good thing. It can go quite badly for people who haven’t at least acquired skills. You need a solid foundation in drawing at the very least. If I was a better draughtsman I might be hitting far better heights but I have put in work.
