When you are lost everything is out to get you (poor choices, accessible poisons, superficial quests and no self awareness). Every trouble is either with you or waiting to meet you (the lack of understanding and connection leaves me open to more poisons and more trouble). True words when spoken are jarring, bitter but after the dust settles are a balm (this is like going to Qigong class). There is confusion though, that is just a lack of acceptance and resolve (myself doubting though finding no other way). We need our illusions, our problems and if we are lucky can dodge other peoples solutions, mainly from institutions (the accepted ways of the world keep us disconnected).
My failures are at least mine, handed down in some parts, accessed through streets and pavements (I am part of the world around me, yet I can see through the illusion). The built world and licensing, distribution, and all of those places I have no agency over leave me no choice but to find myself (I can always rely on myself and build myself up to welcome nature and the Tao). What else do you really have? Weakness is strength in most parts, rigidity fails eventually, flexibility of mind and first the body, the body is always first, then the mind can follow the open paths.
“Ever desireless, one can see the mystery.
Ever desiring, one can see the manifestations.
These two spring from the same source but differ in name;
this appears as darkness.
Darkness within darkness.
The gate to all mystery.”
― Laozi, Tao Te Ching
