This is the difference, I was talking in my last post about a demon being in every person. In Taoism though you don’t drive them out or try and exorcise them. You simply leave them be and play them down. You can’t drive them out, you can have an abundance of positive energy but these things are just part of life. Taoism isn’t about just letting these things run riot either. You just leave them be. Everyone has seen those ridiculous videos of fanatical Christians trying to drive out demons, it’s pointless because you only activate the demons more and look like you’re mad.

It’s just another way of understanding ghosts, demons, spirits or whatever you want to call it in a way that is practical and errs on the side of caution. It is about understanding humanity within and outside of bodily barriers. Your spirit for example in reality has no barriers. It can go anywhere, that might explain intuition for example. You can feel an intention. As an aside when I was an active graffiti writer my intuition would tell me if the police were about to appear. It was always accurate, it gave me a heads up. I knew when and where they were going to come from. Especially when I was on my own wandering the streets. That was my spirit telling me. Listen to it.
