It is appalling for the state government of Victoria to have a weapons expo in such an equally appalling time of senseless violence masked as war. The whole war on terror was no different but western governments sold it as a way to protect its citizens. How can you protect your own people when your army is in the Middle East? They had no intention other than to dominate energy supplies. Now people realise the sham but really people have known all along but it isn’t something you can talk about openly.
The protesters are doing a great job but you won’t find me in there. Soon enough authorities will find justifications to kill protesters. Enough bad press and turning people away from the real issues will help that become a reality. What the expo says loud and clear is that war mongering is a great investment with a great turn over. You can kill whoever whenever and make some bloody money. Real estate is almost out of steam but wars are forever constant.
