Virtue

Something I have learned from practising Qigong is that it isn’t just about the moves but primarily virtue. If you don’t live a virtuous life while doing Qigong (or anything for that matter) you will find yourself in great difficulty. Qigong is simply a virtuous life path. Without virtue in any endeavour for that matter you will find your inner weakness a magnet for what you don’t want. It isn’t a moral matter but part of natural law. Trouble can come from anywhere at any time and virtue is the shield that protects you.

(((goddammit he’s right again. GODDAMMIT and yes! I am shedding habits of a lifetime and I can see the light at the end of this tunnel))) ….. sigh

.. Lies need to be spun like a web every day to hold their ground but the truth need be but spoken once.

    Thanks Again S.D.

    1. This really impacts me at the moment. The previous weekend where I almost lost everything I have gained is an example without exception to what Derek laid out here. And yes you can broad brush what he says but its not, nor is it never so obvious when you conciously or unconciously begin to walk the path of virtue where you start shaking off the shrouds of a wasted former life and begin to think clearly. Where the mind and body on their tasks begin to manifest your very will and you get-a-life a potential real one and one you’ve earned not begged for, stolen or borrowed.
