Fruit trees everywhere

I got back on Facebook recently just to reconnect with people. I doubt I will post much on the platform because I am locked into my blog and Flickr. I noticed some perverse stuff on Facebook and I thought are these perversions supposed to make you a perversion? Like what is the point? Popularity? Like the most popular perversion of perversity. What does it do for anyone?

Facebook knows it is on there and it is meant to be for general viewing so it isn’t nudity. Just a kind of dressed less than subtle click bait. I suppose the algorithm tries you out. Do you have time to be on such a sick platform? Otherwise it was all pretty pedestrian and you get to see what old school friends are doing. You can have a chat and see what’s going on.

On an entirely different tangent I would have dreams of my Aunty Betty’s house and fruit trees growing everywhere. My Aunty Betty told me how in pre corporate times before the international style of architecture fruit trees grew everywhere. So in these dreams I am in Centennial Park picking mangoes, peaches and plums. Then I am wondering what fences to jump to get back to my Aunties with my fruit haul. I am eating the delicious specimens and enjoying fruit for free.

So when I first went to China I was in love with the fact that they grew food everywhere. Last year I was in Beijing and in a popular park and when I looked up at the lines of trees they were all bearing peaches and fruit. I felt like I was in my dream. In a way when I am in China I am in my dream, just a waking one. What a beautiful way to enjoy life, grow food for everyone, yes that is called Communism.

As a side note, when people talk about the haves and have nots, making sure they emphasise where they stand on this issue. What they are really saying is the society they are in is shit and they have to make these hard decisions to protect their lot. We can’t all have something, when really there is more than enough to go around. People know reality but they never come out with it openly.

They simply hide the truth because if you shone a light in the darkness around you all you would see is destruction. We would rather live in darkness though and accept the reality of the situation rather than scrap the corporate model which is best described as: anti-human. People say but even these corporations are composed of people. It begs the question, are they really human?
