Chor Boogie is one of the few who have decolonized themselves from what I can only describe as the anti human systems of Western capitalism. It is so hard to do that, yet so important for self growth. Artists like me are stuck in this rut of playing with ideas that are disconnected from genuine human culture. My only relief in life is Taoism and I do feel connected to that but my art doesn’t go anywhere because it is disconnected from nature and I am too interested in nostalgic Futurism. At the same time that is just where my head is, I can only hope I can get on Chor Boogies level and overcome my own limitations and be filled with nature rather than the false hope of a garbage culture that destroys humans.
