Inspiration comes and goes, it just happens when it is ready. Understandably people are upset about the massacre in Palestine. I find it hard to comprehend that oppression and murder are a state solution. It is nothing new as Afghan’s copped it, Iraqis, Syrian’s the list goes on and on. All backed by our tax dollars. Palestine is exactly the same and still we have to wear the fact that oppression is a tax funded operation. It is organised to keep the blood off our own shores, to export the crisis. 

It is mostly about buying time in a changing world, and the fear is real. The geopolitical landscape will get swept from under our feet and in the end we will be exactly the same as Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, and any bullied nation you can choose or refugee camp. The world is changing fast, the nuclear isotope water is being pumped into the ocean by Japan and nobody says anything. Climate change mitigation is pretty much a game dodged by the Western world.

If you want change you would need major reform on militarised activity, a whole new world order based on multilateral agreements and fair trade. An end of capitalism based on profit, exploitation and greed. None of this is going to happen so enjoy the rewards while they last and watch people killed on an industrial scale and realise that this is the system you support and live within. This is the system that keeps you alive and in some ways anxious and depressed. You may not like it but the first thing you can do is accept what you partake in.

If you accept that the system is corrupted you have a chance of changing it, if you blame others then you never see your own reflection. It isn’t a pretty visage especially when the mask comes off. American and coalition forces occupied Afghanistan for two decades and artists are concerned about people taking hijabs off when the whole country is sent back to the dark ages and drones rule the skies. That is so nasty and inhumane and in some ways the Taliban winning and keeping hijabs on is poetic justice.

Israel oppressing the Palestinian people is nasty and it has been going on since Israel was founded. Iran now has weaponry equal to Israel and so far they are funding underground resistance but haven’t gone into an all out war. A major conflict is inevitable and when it goes down we won’t necessarily be on the right side of history. There are a few flashpoints with Russia flexing the fastest missiles currently in the world and tying its economy with the belt and road project. That’s what we have done, we literally kicked Russia out of Europe decades ago and created the environment for a war with Ukraine.  

The deferral of a Palestinian state is an end game that suits the environment we have created. It is state funded oppression and it is just one face of the black hearted diamond we have crafted. Black hearted people are everywhere, it is you and I.
