The last interview I did was for ABC national radio about graffiti and even though they painted a nice picture of me I disliked the whole process and feel ambivalence about the media and its various lenses ever since. You need to tell your own stories, there are so many ways to do that now without the heavy distortion of media outlets. Sure you have a small audience or no audience at all but you have a story unshackled. I have written about the media I can’t remember if I published it in my own mags but I feel strongly about it. I have refused independent outlets and the reason this came up is a lady and posse wielding a camera for channel 9 were about to ask me a question and I refused, privacy is priceless.
