The basic idea I was looking into with this new work was schizophrenic mind states. Basically I will be making the computer do actions that I “command” it to do, the computer has no responsibility and follows my commands as instructed. I find responsibility an interesting issue in regard to mental illness it is a tricky issue and I have been reading about it a bit. To add I have been commanded to make the work so there is a loop. In some ways the idea of dissolved responsibility only promotes the machine delusion, the idea that a machine has no responsibility is widely accepted and with mental illness it is also accepted in law that a criminal act can be an insane act promoted by the illness rather than the actor. Tricky. So that’s the general idea of what I am on about. I didn’t really get commanded to do the work but in a way I was…lol
The poor computer lucky it has no shame.
